One of the ideas often expressed in Alcoholics Anonymous is the phrase:
“Let go and let God.”
Let go of the worries you carry.
The mental strain.
The physical pressure.
The financial concerns.
Hand them over to something greater than yourself.
This does not mean your challenges will disappear. It means you do not have to carry them alone.
Face each day with love and laughter. Face your storms head-on, because they will pass. They always do. Some just take a little longer than others.
Ask for help, and you will receive it.
Many people believe this world exists for a deeper purpose. That we were made with care, intention and love. But love cannot be forced. Real love leaves room for choice.
So the choice is yours.
You can hold on to fear.
Or you can hand it over.
You can stay trapped in doubt.
Or you can choose hope.
There is strength available to you.
But you must choose to reach for it.
This week’s Motivator
You do not have to carry everything alone. There is strength in surrender, strength in trust and strength in asking for help.
Prompt for the week
What burden have I been carrying by myself that I need to hand over?
