Because this picture represents the end of a dripping pipe, the mental load of life admin, and much more.
You see those two grey pipes sticking out from the vent?
One of those has been dripping for the past few years and wasting water. It was one of those jobs that’s easy to put off. But, drip, drip, drip, the wet concrete was slowly driving me nuts. The job was taking up space rent-free in my mind. Yet, getting the time to start a job, which I might have to get a professional to fix, wasn’t easy.
When the time came, though, I was able to buy the part, go back and buy another part and the tool I needed to fix it. And the dripping stopped.
I’ve never been so happy to see dry concrete and the job wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. Plus, I now have a new tool. Always a bonus 
Ask yourself, what jobs have you got hanging over your head that are like a leaky valve and drip, dripping in your head?
- Make a list of them.
- Assess them – can you do them, or do they need a professional?
- Make the time, or book the professional and start ticking them off.
The space doing this will free up in your mind is enormous because the life admin tasks we carry around with us take up way more energy than you give them credit for.
So, make that list now and get your mind back. It’s like a spa session for your mind. Refreshing!
