The past year has been a whirlwind of opportunity and pace. A whirlwind because of all the things and events that have been happening not only to myself but in the New Zealand and the World. HUGE events. And pace because the speed of which those things happened and how fast the time has appeared to go.
There are 13 days until Christmas …
Over the last last year one thing has kept occurring again and again; getting clear on what I want and sharing that goal / dream has meant more opportunity and brought fantastic people into my world.
Robert H. Waterman said, “Organisations exist only for one purpose: to help people reach greater ends together than they could achieve individually.”
This has proven itself to be very true, once I got clear on what I wanted.
You have to be able to sell the dream so it has to be simple. And that is the hard part. Making it simple and making it inclusive. It can’t be all about you because you cannot achieve success without help and a team.
We are coming to the time of the year when we get to hang out with friends and family. It’s a great time to come up with a dream, talk about it, tweak it, sell it to yourself, then hit the ground sprinting in January.
If you do, you will discover that once you are clear on what you want, and you start sharing it with everyone you come across, it will get more refined and more refined until your dream is other peoples dream too.
And that is when a-mazing things happen. Things you will look at later and go, wow! How the dickens did that happen! I can’t wait for that to happen and looking forward to hearing your success stories in the New Year.
