MM champion - We are the champions of the world! #notfootballrelated

Hi there,

Are you a champion?

In his quote below, Arnie says its the last 3 or 4 reps that separate the champion from the rest. The ones that you do after it starts to hurt.

At the gym the people who really progress and reach their personal goals are training with intensity and purpose, pushing themselves.

So, I believe that by doing what Arnie says you can be a champion in all areas of your life. You just have to choose one to start with and go for it.

Working on being a champion in that area will then flow into the other areas of your life. Where in my life can I push those extra 3 or 4 reps?

Well, it might be the number of sales calls you make a day, talking to another person in your showroom, having a chat with a staff member or even taking the time out for you that you keep putting off.

Being a champion is a full-time thing, not a sometimes thing. Being a champion is not something you do for one day, you do it every day. Even when you are alone, be a champion!

You never stay the same or in one place. Every day you are either going forwards or backwards towards your goals. Sometimes though, you might need to take a breather, gather some momentum and ready yourself for the next push forward.

Setting goals with a specific deadline, planning your activities, then being persistent enough to achieve those goals, will make you feel great like you could do it again and make you feel like a champion.

So, be a champion from today. Have the GUTS to go on, set goals, be persistent and become a CHAMPION!

Kind regards,

Glenn “The Champ!” Edley

Quote for the week

“The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That’s what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they’ll go through the pain no matter what happens.”
