MM humour - How is your sense of humour?

Good morning,

How is your sense of HUMOUR?

I read somewhere that children laugh 40 plus times a day and adults about only four. Four times a day?! That can’t be right, can it?

Did you know that your sense of humour is one of the first things to go if you’re on a diet? Nor did I, but I can see how starving yourself and only eating celery, carrot and lettuce could get you down 🙁

A sense of humour helps to smooth the path on the way to your success.

A sense of humour makes you likeable and a more attractive person. Likeability is the surest sign you’ll do well.

A sense of humour can help you to overcome challenges by rising above them and seeking the course of action that will put you back on the path to success.

A way to keep you in good humour is to ‘count your blessings’. The fact is, you are blessed every day with little things you take for granted.

Like the fact you are breathing right now as you read this, you CAN read, you’ve just got up from a good nights sleep in a bed, and the list goes on.

There is always someone worse off than you and counting your blessings won’t fail to put a smile on your face. Every night before I go to sleep I write three things I am grateful for from that day. It’s part of my sleep routine and it helps.

Remember that no problem is unique or new, you are never alone and there is always someone you can ask for advice who has been there.

Have a terrific week, tell someone a joke and laugh lots.

Kind regards,

Glenn “Stand up!” Edley
