Predicting the future for Retail

Retail in the future looks great! A little Scary for retailers in some respects but then the sky’s the limit to what you could potentially offer customers.

The last paragraph in Barbara Thau’s article stood out for me :
“Another great example of the retail model of the future is to provide value-added services attached to a product. For example, if a consumer is buying a new phone then the retailer should automatically offer in-store classes to train the consumer on the device.”

I want that now.
