YourMondayMotivator – It’s a White winter

The All Whites are really putting the White into Winter this year with amazing results from the World Cup. With a different ref it might have been a win over Italy this morning.

But should we be so surprised at how they are doing?

The planning that has gone into this team started a few years ago when Terry Serepisos put a lot of heart, and a lot of money, to get the Wellington Phoenix off the ground.

That team has been a great proving ground for players to come through and play decent football.

Before that Wynton Rufer started his Wynton Rufer Soccer School of Excellence, WYNRS. By taking young kids and developing their skills since 1997. Many of the All Whites have been to his school.

So the adage that it takes many years to become an ‘overnight success’ is proven by the All Whites.

This didn’t just happen. They didn’t just start playing well. There has been many years of coaching and planning go into this campaign.

Keeping that in mind don’t be in too much of a hurry to become successful. Plan, train, make mistakes, fail, and you will get to your goals. The idea though is to do something every day.

The All Whites will have been training and playing football every day since they were very young. As the ad goes, it won’t happen overnight, but it will happen.
