What motivates you?
Are you seeking fame, fortune or to be the number one in your field?
The dictionary meaning of motivation is, the psychological feature that arouses an organism to action toward a desired goal; the reason for the action; that which gives purpose and direction to behaviour.
Goals basically. Based on what you want in life.
What motivates you is what separates you from everybody else, no matter what the circumstances, or who you are. We all shape our lives out of the tools we have or have been given and if you are not motivating your self, someone is motivating you!
What motivates you might not be clear to you. But you can find out what it is and if it isn’t helping you in the direction you want to go, you can change your motivation to help you.
Being clear about your goals or having a definite purpose will make it easier to be motivated. This is something that is currently at the forefront of my thoughts. I feel sure that because I’ve neglected to write down what I want I have been meandering instead of being bullet straight in the direction I want to go.
An example of what motivates me is why I write the Monday Motivator. I am motivated to write the Monday Motivator by the notion that what I write might cause someone to go “Aha, that works for me!”, and it makes their life a bit better and puts a smile on their face.
It’s awesome when someone tells me that’s what happened 🙂
So, what is motivating you?

Have a great week.
