Giovanni Papini said, “Breathing is the greatest pleasure in life.”
It really is. Try not breathing for awhile to test the point if you like. Over the years I have read lots about meditation and breathing exercises and found I don’t have the time for most of them.
However, I recently read something that has changed my view on that. The idea is to pause once during the day and take three deep breaths. Concentrate on your breathe in and your breathe out, in through your nose, out through your mouth.
I decided to put a reminder in my calendar everyday and I am finding it very relaxing. Try it yourself for a week and let me know how you go.
