MM some succeed - Some succeed, others fail... Why??

Some succeed, others fail… Why??

That has been a question we’ve asked since we became dissatisfied with caves and tried to find ways to make life more comfortable. It’s a question asked in mirrors, bars and at bbq’s often enough that swaths of books have been written to try and answer it.

The problem I see is that the answer is generally deep, deep inside yourself. And, that is a place few care to tread.

However, even in light of that here are some examples of “success” traits that might help answer the question;

  • The successful person thinks before they speak

  • The successful person knows precisely what they desire and plan for it

  • The successful person budgets time, income and expenditures and lives within their means

  • The successful person takes a keen interest in people, cultivating friendships and long lasting relationships

  • The successful person keeps their mind and outlook on life positive at all times

  • The successful person knows their success depends on the quality and quantity of service they render

  • The successful person is where they are because of the mental attitude they have towards themselves and others.

Over the next few weeks make the time to read books that will stimulate and motivate you. And keep in mind the traits of a successful person. I will be.

To your success.

P.S. I thought these tips might be useful so I asked Christine to turn them into a list you can printout and hang somewhere or save to your phones background. Download it here.

Quote for the week

“Around here, however, we don’t look backward for very long. We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

– Walt Disney
