MM Sep16 2019 - Keep Moving Forward ➡️

Hello there,

Let me brighten up your Monday morning with some examples of peoples perseverance paying off.

  • Dr. Seuss’s first children’s book was rejected by 23 publishers.

  • Apple’s first microcomputers were turned down by H-P and Atari.

  • Vince Lombardi didn’t become a head coach in the NFL till he was 47.

  • In his first three years in the auto business, Henry Ford went bust twice.

  • Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team.

  • Einstein’s Ph.D. dissertation was rejected as irrelevant and fanciful.

  • Frank Woolworth saw the failure of three of his first five chain stores.

Perseverance is another way of saying commitment, and what distinguishes these people from others, is that they kept their forward motion and didn’t let something like failure stop them in their tracks.

So don’t let the weather we had over the weekend, keep moving forward and have a successful week.

Best Regards,

Glenn Edley
