MM JAN 2020 Bluesky - How to enjoy the view

Good Morning

I love inspiring views that I can recall time and time again to give me a lift by reminding the sky is always blue above the clouds.

For example, I once had the opportunity to view the North Island from 16,000ft as I flew to and from Palmerston North.

What an amazing sight. Out one window you can see mountains, with lots of snow and beautiful lakes, and out the other window, green ocean and Mt Taranaki, cloudless in the morning sun. Fantastic.
A quick photo out the window locks it in. But what I find works best to lock a view in is looking for small details in the scenery. I find I am suddenly paying a lot more attention to what I’m seeing.

Try it next time you’re driving. Your attention to the road ahead will sharpen as you pick out things you’d never usually see as you rush by.

This week look for the small details and you will find you are taking in a lot more than you would have thought possible. Smiling helps :)

Have a successful week.

Best regards,
Glenn Edley
