Welcome to this week’s MondayMotivator.
This Monday Motivator is inspired by Steve Jobs, with the quote coming from an article from the New Zealand Herald.
He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and told to get his affairs in order; “you only have 3 to six months to live”. Having thought he was going to die, Steve had an epiphany which he shared with Stanford University students. What he told them is succinct and a lesson to live by.
‘Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.’ – Steve Jobs
Now I have some questions for you.
Why do we wait until we think we are going to die before we live how we are meant to, as ourselves?
Why is it we don’t live like this now?
Live like Steve’s lesson says NOW and don’t wait.
Have a terrific week!
