A famous politician, when asked what he learned most from 50 years of public life, said extraordinary people have two things in common;
1, they laugh uncontrollably and that it comes from inside their belly (belly laugh), and 2, they have a great ability and desire to show affection to their pets.
So this morning, to remind us how simple and happy life can be, let’s learn a few lessons from a happy dog.
An article, titled All I Really Need To Know I Learned From A Dog, says;
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride.
When loved ones come home, always run and greet them.
Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory.
Run, romp and play daily.
Be loyal.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
Delight in the simple joys of a long walk.
Be the dog this week, be the dog, light up the life of those around you and don’t be afraid to bark a few times if you need some attention.
