Creativity – the ability to create. How much time do you put into being creative? A lot, or you’re so busy (get off your screen) not much?
Creativity and play will enhance your learning and your capabilities as a champion in the game of life. Don’t think playing is only for children, adults can benefit from just having a laugh, dancing around with kids/pets and generally acting like a BIG kid.
I have put together some tips that might help get your CREATIVE juices flowing.
Exercise – exercise releases endorphins and increases nerve connections to the brain
Listen to music – music from Mozart or Bach (Baroque) is especially good
Eat foods high in Vitamin B and get your minerals
Have a brains trust – surround yourself with enthusiastic, inspiring people, read
Carry a notebook – write your ideas and thoughts down when you have them
Make time to daydream and relax
Listen to your gut – it is usually right
Ask better questions – if you don’t understand….ask!
Have clear goals
Be spontaneous
Listen – you have FOUR ways to listen, eyes and ears
Those are just some of what might help you to become more creative. There are lots more and I challenge you to get creative and send some of your creative thoughts to me. They might end up in the next Monday Motivator.
