In this week’s MondayMotivator:
- Lack of action or quitting leads to a lack of achievement and fulfilment.
- Following the crowd doesn’t guarantee correctness; independent thinking is crucial.
- Persistence and determination are essential for success; quitting is not an option.
It is usually at a time when you are feeling weak or disappointed that your senses tell you to quit. It seems a lot less painful. It is so easy and makes life seem so much more bearable.
Yet, the principal reason why so many people never realise a sense of achievement or fulfilment is that they do nothing or they quit. They know that when they quit, they won’t need to feel guilty about doing anything.
When they encounter obstacles, they see no way around them and surrender or look at what everyone else is doing or rather not doing. It is so easy just to go with the flow and follow the crowd, to think with the mentality of the masses.
After all, they can’t all be wrong or can they? Yes, they can and history demonstrates this fact.
If you want to make things happen, you need to develop a stubbornness that will not waiver in the face of adversity. Courage to see things through to their conclusion. A spirit of determination that says, “I will persist. I will not quit.”
This week think, quitting is an excuse for not trying, so I will develop a spirit of determination and resolve never to quit when things become difficult. I will find a way around the challenge I am faced with. But, I will never quit!
