At Square they have updated the design of their reader to a slimmer more reliable design. Reliable from the point of view it reads the two bands on a card stripe and so you’re more likely to only have to do one swipe. That’s a win.
But one thing they really focused on was the ‘feel’ of the swipe of the card through the reader. We all have a ‘swipe’ through our product or business.
Work out what yours is, spend time on it and make it feel just right. More business and less friction will ensue.
